My Car
This car is a new work in progress for a British car fan.
Hey everyone! Just wanted to take a moment to say hello. I’m dipping my toes from the tight, compact world of small British cars into the realm of American muscle. I recently picked up a ’72 coupe that’s in need of some TLC and restoration. While I’m no stranger to restomods, Mustangs are new territory for me—so please bear with me as I ask hundreds of stupid and obvious questions! I’m excited for the engaging and insightful conversations ahead as I embark on this journey.

Welcome, Jon, and howdy from Texas! Congrats on your new-to-you '72 Mustang! You've come to the right place for to learn about, get help, and have some fun. The members on the forum are a great community for anyone serious about these cars. Don't hesitate to jump in, ask questions, and learn. Post up some pictures of your car and let us see what you're working with. See you 'round the forums!

Thanks for the warm Texas welcome, sure makes me miss living there! I'll get some pictures uploaded soon. Right now I'm doing a bit of inventory, categorization, and planning, which is where I am so grateful that everyone is here to ask questions and pick brains.

I look forward to talking to you, and everyone else!

A warm, sunny, and mostly humid welcome from Ft. Lauderdale, FL! Glad to have you in here, and we're looking forward to answering your stupid and obvious questions 🙃 Cheers!

Welcome from Chicago! This is a great place to get your questions answered, I was new to Mustangs about three years ago and I have learned so much from the members on this forum that has enabled me to complete my restoration efficiently.

Oh man, I was born and raised in Plantation. What a small world!

Thanks you for making me feel better about this undertaking. I restored a 75 MG Midget using a MG forum so I'm really happy to know the same resources exist here.

Hello and Welcome from Michigan. Good luck with your new ride!
Thank you! My car came from Connecticut, so I have a whole new appreciation for the northern climate old car struggle.

Welcome from North Idaho. Post up some photos of your new ride, we'd love to see them!

You're not the only one here with a small British car past. I still drive a TR250 when I want to play on some really narrow twisty roads close by.
I love the TR250; I have a 75 Midget that I love to drive in the tight mountain roads but its rough on the open roads. I wasn't completely in the market for another project, but this one presented itself and I felt like I had to pounce. I'll be getting pictures up soon. When I finished my MG restoration, it was great to look back at all my posts.
