This was at the MOM, Mustang Owner's Museum in 2018 on the Roval track at Charlotte Motor Speedway. In the 73 vert. Will do again next week. Hope it still runs have not had time to touch it doing the Mach 1 for the museum.

Score! Found some over the hood of the 72 at Darlington when pacing the NASCAR Southern 500 back in 2015. This was the experience of a lifetime.

This is on Charlotte Motor Speedway the Roval. Lot of fun they had a pace car but I talked to several in front and back of me and we made a plan to fall back and go wide open down the back stretch. The old 73 vert would almost hit 100 and there was a Mustan II behind me with 460 and 2 -4 with blower running all over me.

Went out for a morning drive as it’s getting colder and the opportunities to drive are becoming fewer and fewer.  Will be time to put the car away for the winter which will give me time to complete a few projects on it.

Leaves are changing, it won't be long now before the old girl gets put away for the winter.  Meanwhile I'm enjoying the back roads of North Idaho.

Wow, I was the last guy to post in this thread a bit over a year ago. Hard to believe a year has passed already.

Anyway, first photo is of the same back road this year in almost the exact same location.




Second photo taken in the valley just west of me. Pretty near peak color here in far North Idaho.



Over the past year I have driven 3400 trouble free miles.

This is the last drive of the season as snow is in the forecast for this weekend. Doing an oil change tomorrow and putting her to bed until April.

What a great time I've had this year enjoying the car irrespective of the price of non-ethanol premium!
