I will be parting out my 71 cougar race car so if you are interested in some parts here we go- brand new radiator support,shock towers, power steering, disc brakes,9 inch rearend,rear springs, floor pans,trunk sheet metal, aluminum bumpers off fairmont and gm product,roll cage, window net,misc chassis parts, please inquire if interested in anything! 10.00-?;)

 
Can you tell me a little about the 9" rear end?

Hi Doc- The rear end is a low miles unit running 28 spline axles, a spool, and some short gears 5.83 Brakes, bearings, seals, gaskets,and drums are fairly fresh- 600.00 complete drum to drum or 250.00 less third member plus shipping.

Thanks. If I got it I think you live close enough where I would drive down and pick it up. But it sounds like the gears are way too short - I was looking for a 3.25 or so, but now I remember you said it's a race car.

No problem- its designed to get you to the grocery store QUICKLY. Long leasurely drives not so much, I will keep my eyes peeled for a set of 3.25 complete center chunk!


Just a reminder there is NO interior parts, cage and sheetmetal only, collapseable steering column, brakes, throttle etc.
