So I had a painful experience today when I found a 73 coupe in a pick n pull lot here in MD. I got some pictures. The worst part was she was straight as an arrow. No wreck, no fire, someone just stopped loving her.

Brings me to my question. When you go to a lot and find something like this, what are the hot ticket items that are worth the scavenge? Anything that you shouldn't pass up when you have the opportunity?

All I grabbed were some rubber bumpers for the hood and what not.

BTW the vin on the car was 3F01H238391

Options--I always go for options. I found a 73 Cougar in one a few years ago. I quickly removed the console, the am/fm radio, and some bits that would fit my Mustang from under the hood I needed.

Look for a tilt column, rim blow wheel, disk brakes, A/C parts, rear sway bar/larger front bar, etc.
