OK folks...time for some detective work.  What is wrong with these two listings from CJPony Parts?

Other than the bloated price I think the firewall connection is for a 69 or 70...

The price is one mistake but correct me if I'm wrong or I need to get glasses I can't see headlamp connectors

If I'm right maybe they're an optional extra?

Hmmm had another look and can't see 2 black 3 wire headlamp connectors in the pics

Can't see any horn wires either but maybe they're separate

Might have to wait until I get home put my glasses on and compare with my harness then or perhaps someone else will get it

Please don't keep us in suspense too long

You're overlooking the obvious...

I don't know the wiring like you do, but I'll take a random stab at two things, 1, its missing the positive or negative connection 2 the connector is the wrong pin pattern or male when it should be female or vice versa.

Where is the firewall grommet? The original has is molded to the harness.

Ok let me try. They show a square firewall grommet and our cars have a round one. Pic attached.

The header on one describes the harness as with Tachometer while the description below describes it as WITHOUT tachometer and the one with the header that describes the harness as without tachometer the description below says it is for WITH tachometer. HA!

Nope.  The descriptions are consistent.

lol midlife, you sound like me schooling my son, I know the answer because it makes sense to me, but he stares at me and either gives up or guesses. You see these like no one else, but we're all just guessing, and 3+ major issues............holy crap man. Can I get the kindergarten version? Much love but I think you're over most of our skills in this area.

OK...here we go.

(1) No firewall grommet

(2) Where's the major section containing wipers, NSS/BU, engine gauge feed plugs?

(3) No sportslamp sockets

(4) No starter solenoid ring connectors

(5) rubber grommet for fuse box connector plug is not used in 71.

The picture is of a 1970 headlight harness, not a 71.

CJ's is chasing down whether in fact there is both a non-tach and tach version of a 71. NPD lists only a tach version, and I have confirmed with them that i is a non-tach version.
