I would suggest before you buy anything get a plan together of what you want, how you are going to drive it etc... You dont want to get half way along and then figure out some parts dont work together. So again do your home work. Talk to people. Buy your cam stuff all together as a kit. Comp CAms are more than helpful. Mine was a custom grind to exactly what i wanted and was actually around the same cost as an off the shelf cam. Just my 2cents worth

one thing i learned building and putting my engine in is if you are planning on wrapping your headers to keep heat down, wrap them before you put them in the car. haha i didnt and it was a PITA.
