Ok, so with how much I've learned about using Blender in the last few months I decided I didn't like my first attempt as much as I thought. So, I decided to give it another try, this time I'm really taking my time on smaller details to make it a little more "photo-realistic". Here's a shot of the nose I just finished up.

Looks great! I really need to learn Blender!

Thanks guys! I actually figured out how to use panoramic pics for my background images. This was a shot of the local beach where I live and I rendered the car with the scene to get the right reflections for the environment. Pretty neat stuff. As for the real thing, I've done a few things in the last week or so and I'm updating the SN71 thread right after this one, so hopefully I can finish the real car soon too! :)

I love the rendering but the lights and stuff are not for me. To much bling bling. LBetter leave that to the posers and the ricers. A real car doesn´t need that kinda stuff.

I was just thinking of something more subtle...but then again I drive a red convertible...how about a UV glow? or Infra Red...Coral Blue....says the color blind man.

Something like this?

The red looks more "sinister" but I'm diggin' the blueish-violet too!

As for it being too "ricer" I tend to somewhat agree, but thought it might be cool for those late night local cruise nights, not to have on all the time.
