Finally got the 73 Grande on the road but am in need of one part of a seatbelt. Can't take anyone for a ride without it. If anyone has a spare like the one shown or a pair that's similar, I'd be interested. I could order a full set but I can only find the ones without the plastic encasing for the female portion.

Is that full plastic encasing factory? I have a set of original ones here and the only plastic is near the mounting bolt. Interestingly enough, I have installed a few sets of aftermarket ones from seatbelt planet and they do have that long plastic encasing on the female section.

That's what was it came with when I got it 10 years ago. I have no idea if it's stock but it's handy with a full wrap so you don't have to go fishing for it between the seat and console.

If it's a stock belt, it will have a tag sewn onto it.
The aftermarket belts that have the plastic cover, don't fit the tunnel the way they should. A set of 3 point aftermarket belts I installed had these covers and I ended up buying some sleeves from Seatbelt Planet and cutting them to cover the bolt and extent along the belt for only about 6". That helped to keep the belt close to the seat. A later change swapped these for more modern style on a wire.
If it were my car, I'd be adding 3 point belts up front. Lots of posts on this subject to search through.

Both of my very late production 73 Mach 1’s have that same plastic encased seat belt on the console side so it is a factory supplied belt. My early 73 convertible however does not. It does keep that seat belt from going down between the seat and console which is nice. Maybe that was a late 73 design?
