Sooo, you thought that R-code was a little rough for the price?

Unless it's James Dean's porsche and really a '55...I can't believe that's going to sell for such a high price and from a seller with zero feedback.

Shill bidders with such high feedbacks?

Already checked that out.

Still doesn't compute...

Maybe it's a rare serial #. I don't get it.

Looking at the car and the bidding history, I have to scratch my head, too.

I agree...doesn't make sense to me
... said every "classic Mustang guy" that ever looked at an ebay auction for a '71, '72, or '73 model no matter what the bid was up to. rofl

Obviously at least 46 other people know something about this car that we do not.

Possibly heavy race history - logbook and SCCA connections?

::huh:::

Only thing I can figure is the bidding is based upon it being from the Roosevelt estate but what I find hilarious is that they go out of their way to point out the cheap trailer it's on doesn't go with the car. 46K and bidding isn't over.

A Tiger that I watched sell for just under $10K was in very similar shape.

And I thought that was the top of my "OMG are you nuts" scale.

Lotsa diversity in our hobby. Ya learn something new every day I guess LOL.
