I am looking for some advice on tightening up the power steering on my 73 Grande.

I am about two weeks away from getting my 351c back from the slow but meticulous engine builder and I'm afraid I'm going to have a hard time keeping my girl on the road with the high performance engine.

I had the front up, and engine out, today and was wiggling the front wheels. There was play in the tie rod ends and a little at the idler arm to center link. There also seemed to be play where the pitman arm goes through the center link.

I am planning on doing the rod ends, idler arm and stablizer bar bushings and ends.

But I am wondering if the play in the pitman arm requires me to replace it or the center link..... Or both?

Any advice?

I would replace everything. With the engine out there will never be an easier time to do it and the additional parts you are talking about aren't that expensive.
