Strange Noise

So here is something puzzling about my vert. With the driver door open, and no keys in ignition, or headlights on. I hear a barely audible humm or buzz coming from the area of the quarter post. Any ideas would be helpful..

In that condition your seat back release solenoids should be operating to allow the seat backs to flip up. Have you listened down near the base of the seat? Could be the solenoid buzzing a bit.

I think you may have nailed it. Will check to confirm and let you know. I only wish there was a site like this for all my vehicles...

Ah it was the seat solinoids thanks for putting me on trail. Will see about eliminating the humm..

Glad it was such an easy find. One thing I would suggest is pull the solenoid from the seat and if possible bench test it. The solenoid by nature should be quiet. If not it may be a sign it's going bad (neither of mine make any noise at all)
