Just checked the MPC, Torino unit is definitely different. I may still have a manual trans X-member, will take a look tonight.

Studdley,  the 70-71 Torino and 71-73 Mustangs were dimensionally similar and shared a lot of front end components. Unfortunately the trans cross member is not one of them. The one you need is D1ZZ-6A023-B and was used on all 71-73 MT applications (3 & 4 sp)  except 250 6cyl's. It was also used (1971only) on FMX and C-4 AT V8 applications.

I would give Don @ Ohio Mustang Supply or Mike @ Motor City Mustang a call. They have a good supply of parts cars and parts and have helped a bunch of folks with these type of parts.
