The wheel houses, q quarters and trunk floor have been replaced, so I don't have a point of reference to remember the correct routing of the harness.

I do know it goes over the wheelhouse, that's about it.

Also where specifically does the fuel sender wires get thru?

71 Mach 1 M code if that is relevant

Thanks in advance for help on this

yes over the wheel house and then under the door sill plate just like the power windows wires.

for the sending unit wire, it goes thru a hole (with a grommet) on the inner plate on the left of the trunk floor (on pict the hole isn't there). There is a connector on the harness for it.

Funny to note that passenger side is much better than driver side on CJP site :)

If you need a location, hole size, let me know.

Probably because they didn't punch the hole for the sender wires or the quarter drains.

You can see the sender wiring hole in this pic from the 429 Megasite. It's circled in red and partially hidden behind the spring shackle. . Measure the groove on the grommet to determine the correct size. Don't forget the quarter drains, circled in green. Same location both sides.

I made and relocated the drain holes on my 73 lower and will do same on my 71. As on both all metal was gone bellow that hole.

I have no ref to the original assembly and may be wrong, but from the pict the hole is so high, you'd have at least a quarter of condensed water before it would actually be useful.

As yours looks original, what's the distance of the hole to bottom inside? pict?

The hole for the grommet in the trunk drop down. When I took this picture, I did not have the drain hole drilled yet

Wire harness routing  from the drop down hole to the rear and across the frame to the tank and to the sending unit. Note the wire clip locations.

Himmm, I just noticed I have my tie downs reversed (on the wrong sides.) lollerz
