I spent a lot of effort to make sure the turn signal indicators worked, and now that they do, the steering wheel obscures them anyway. I doubt that this is a factory wheel, but I'm wondering if I just happen to have an unlucky line of sight based on height etc. or if this is a common problem. Pretty insignificant, I know, but it's not the miles ahead, it's the pebble in your shoe....

For some reason, all every aftermarket steering wheel on the planet is smaller than OEM mustang ones. Its a conspiracy.

Same problem with my aftermarket 13" wheel. The indicators were 100% blocked no matter what viewing angle. Tried a "loud" flasher to no avail. I did the car guy thing and rigged up LED cowl flashers, they work like a charm (get complements on them too).

That's a 77-78 Mustang II Stallion trim steering wheel, also used in other Ford and Mercury models. I think they look great in our cars but they are a smaller diameter than the stock wheel.

Here in Texas I think turn signals are optional on cars and trucks and they seldom get used. ;) Get a noisy flasher for your turn signals and you won't need to see the indicator lights.
