I am going to pull my tilt column for a rebuild. I am planning to put a reproduction Turn Signal switch in, but I notice the repop comes with no terminals on the wires. I do not want to cut the wires off my original tilt column switch harness, so I am looking for anyone who may have an old turn signal switch from a tilt or non-tilt 71 column that they are ready to part with. I am looking for a good switch side connector and 6 inches of the harness. Does that make sense?

Let me know what you may have and cost to get it to me at Zip Code 64014.

Thanks,

kcmash

Would a pin extractor and new pins solve the problem? If so, Mid-Life may be able to point you to a source. Chuck

Probably. Of course the specialty pins usually have a specialty tool to crimp the terminals on.

When I would replace the T/S switches I would release the pins from the prior switch's connector. It was not hard to do, just tedious. Do one wire at a time to prevent getting any of them crossed while moving from one connector to the other. Also, just a heads up, the T/S switch for the tile wheel column is different compared to the fixed (non-tilt) steering column, I do not recall the difference between the two different switches, but I do remember it was important to get the right one.
