After all of these years, even being indoors, they are unsuitable for anything but static display. They have been in my family since the mid-70's. I believe that they are NOS. If I'm not mistaken, they are dated 1972 by the code. They have the earliest version bias ply style tread design with no breaks in the raised part of the tread (I failed to get a picture of the tread itself :-/ ). Both are raised black letters as shown.
Feel free to ask questions. I have only ever seen one set of these for sale, and they were used street versions. I have more pictures if interested.
The used 5.00/11.30-15 Goodyear Sports Car Specials shown in the one picture are also for sale, and are from the same time period. They are also race only, very lightweight and just as stiff and noncompliant as the BFG's are!
Honestly, I have no idea what they are worth, so I'll randomly put $100/pair on them. Would prefer not to ship, but if you have a need, email and we'll discuss it.
