What happened on this Launch?

Odd that the car is twisting the opposite from normal would they be running a boat engine turning opposite direction? Looks like something broke hanging under the rear. That had to warp the body panels big time.

Maybe the drivers side rear tire is just being run over since it looks like whatever rear suspension link system it had failed.  That is a great photo of an expensive failure!
