Wow, Best in Show for My 73 Convert

Took my 73 to the local Mustang Club car show I belong to last Saturday. Mine was the only classic Mustang entered. The others were 1994 and newer, with plenty of late model GT 500's and one of the three real Barricade Saleen's from the Movie Transformers. The format was popular vote by other participants, but you could not vote for your own car like some other shows I've been in.

They had top twenty trophy's, then best paint, best engine, best interior, and best in show.

Well after listening to all the other awards given out I thought I was going home empty handed, but I could not believe it when my name was called for Best In Show for my 73 Convertible!

Barricade got one of the top twenty trophy's.

Looks like our 71/73's are getting some respect from the other generation of Mustangs owners! So I accept this trophy on behalf of all of our 71/73's.
