Jeff,

I cannot see the photos from my work laptop due to corporate issues but, just a thought that the windshield frame needs to be cut down to enable the much needed gasket at the top. I did not do this and only realized that there actually was a gasket until my  car was assembled & driving in the rain...  Now, I always have to drive with a towel on my lap....

Thanks, Jay

I have the gaskets and will be trial fitting before I call the job done.  I have not drilled the holes in the face of the frame yet for that reason.

Also, I will be avoiding driving in the rain as much as possible with an open engine compartment!

Cool car.  I'm shooting for a channeled body on mine and the frame is double z'ed

So here are some recent photos. Body is going to come up a bit, mostly in the back, and the grill shell will not be angled. Front track width is 60" to the center of the tires, 70" to the outside. Rear width is 66 to center 76 to the outside and the overall wheelbase is 100". I've used the factory sway bars off the 89 corvette suspension donor and added coil overs with progressive rate springs all around. In the rear I've narrowed the rear cradle to fit inside the frame rails and added adjustable track rods. I'll spend the next few weeks getting the floor done before blowing everything apart for final welding, adjustment and painting.

Too damn hot to work on it. Spent the last two months going back and forth to memphis to help renovate a condo my brother bought. 5 trips, 4 in my beater F 250 at 11mpg. On the plus side he's keeping my mother there, so I'd cut off an arm to avoid having to deal with her. Not mine mind you. :D

here is a recent update as I begin to fit the interior structure and floor into place, as well as the location for the battery. Will have AC unit behind driver seat

I occasionally delude myself with the idea that I am making progress, but not this time

Great job and it is coming along nicely!
I hear ya about the heat. I just started up as well and the garage is 95 degrees and cooling off hopefully.
As a compliment to kindred spirits, here are some updates on mine. Cheers!

The 348 is going in my buddy's model T.

Sorry to be so long in posting, but life got in the way for a while and I did some work on a few other people's vehicles (56 F100 and a 41 Ford Truck) got burned out for a while then have been dealing with health problems (which seem to be now mostly resolved) I'm back on it but also am rebuilding the Mach 1's engine due to a block fracture I'll try and get some updates posted in the near future.
