Got a little more done on the engine this past week. Been busy helping a friend out with his 63 CJ5 and another friend with his 68 427 vette. No time left for myself :D

Well, it has been awhile since my last post on my 72 R. Been really busy on customer cars! I have had some time to strip the engine compartment and suspension and get it mounted on the rotisserie.  I will take it down to metal and start with the suspension build. Notice the greenish paint on the underside.

Just a few pics.

Damn, I would call up one of those Dustless Blast companies to come blast it while its on the rotisserie. Save you 6 months of grinding and 2 cases of flap wheels.

Looks like a nice project.

72 R, what a rare car, awesome.

What's with the huge hole where the shifter goes? to high to be a rust out!

I hope it's going to be the original color when done.... If not my choice would be Bright Lime with Black interior.

All the best with it,

Geoff.
