429 CJ 4 spd drive shaft length

I have a 71 J-code CJ with a toploader 4spd.
It was bucked with a C6 in March, 1971.
I drove it in high school back in 78 while everyone else
drove Mavericks, Pintos, and Vegas.
I want a stick and have been looking for a drive shaft the last 18 months
to purchase.
Pretty much kicking a dead horse here.
While most have made a vow to take this stuff to the grave.
I'm going down to the local machine shop Monday and have one made up.
Looking on the MustangCougar Web sight,
the measurements are shown to be 50-21/32 inches in length.
My question is, Total length end to end or center to center yoke?
Anybody that has a 4spd J or C-Code, HELP!!

Chief, since you're making a custom shaft, you may want to consider an actual measurement for your application:

The 50 21/32" measurement is center to center of the yokes.
