Parts Wanted 71 351 air cleaner assembly

Looking for a 71 style 351C air cleaner assembly. 2V, 4V or even a 70, doesn't much matter, as it's only to put a correct "looking" air cleaner on the wife's 71 Cougar. I'd also be interested in the flared duct if that's all you have.

This is the style I'm looking for, it's approx 17" in diameter with the vacuum operated duct door and flared inlet. I'm not interested in the smaller diameter type with the "spoked" lid. Small dents, dings and surface rust are okay, I'm not looking to make a concours piece.

It'll need to be shipped unless you're within a short drive from the central CT shoreline.

spdbk1 - The air cleaner assy sold but I have two 351C valve covers. The car was built early October 1970. Let me know if that will work for your application.

PM if interested, they are in really good shape the driver side has a repair as visible in the photo. Yours for the shipping and packing costs if you want them.

I understand. Its not for everyone. I had several bad experiences on eBay but their return policies are favorable to the buyers. I've managed a good number of NOS or used parts. My NOS fuel tank sender being one......for a price but it worked and saved me much grief!

I have many pieces of the air cleaner assembly; biggest problem is not knowing how to ID stuff I already have. Going to start a new thread to find out what I need.
