Anyone know of good source for 71-73 Die Cast Models? I'd love to have one of those Auto Art Mach 1's but man...$100+ is a chunk of change for a toy car!

I know, I'm probably gonna have to just break down and spring for the autoart! It is nice!

To show her support for my project, my wife bought me one of the Testor's kits a few weeks ago. The kit is really pretty nice - even has plug wires and some correct rims (not Magnum 500s though).

The bummer is that it looks like it has trunk decals from the '73 model on a '71 body. The 'Mach 1' emblem is offset to the right and embedded in the trunk lid stripe (that's a '73, right?).

Otherwise, the kit's just fine. I guess I need to build it now.

The thing that annoys the crap out of me on the autoart Mach1's is they all have an incorrect front bumper. We all know that's okay for a Boss 351 but NOT a Mach1. For that price you would think they would get it right.
