You're coming along great!! I love the way its shaping up. I reminds me of late 60s early 70 Italian super cars (Pantera, Miura) but a Mustang take on it. Not sure if it helps you with ideas for the rear but was feeling creative at the computer tonight and threw this together. If not it was fun anyway.

That's cool, I looked at it a few times, thinking it was a pic of a firebird, before I realized it was an early pic of my build ,photo shopped. I have been toying with that a little lately. As of now I'm thinking going with the originals with a custom bezel. The original lights appear bigger since the back is chopped and I kinda like them. Adding a bezel and led sequential kit is where my heads at today. Thanks , interesting.

My thoughts on tail lights. I have a preference for stock looking lights as they are a major style que for these cars. Custom bezels and sequential LEDs will tidy it up nicely

Hey Luke, I have decided to go with the stock lights, modified. I agree with your sentiments. I have worked through the quarter panels and into the rear deck. I will be posting pics first part of the week. Thanks all, for the input.

When you take a build this far, original styling cues no longer matter. You can do anything you want. I'm really looking forward to see how the original taillights will fit in with the rest.

If the tailights will hang in there with the car upside down, you don't need bezels ;)
They didn't fall out, but all the fluid is leaking out of them, lol. Hey Jeff can you flip that pic for me? I think you've done it for me before haven't ya. If I'm wrong ,sorry if I'm right ,thanks !

Will you be using the honeycomb (Mach) panel? ::thumb::
I don't have any to try them , I'm not sure if they'll fit with the chop or not. The proposed bezels will recess the tail light into the panel I'm not sure either how that would look. I have designed a stripe that I think will take dominance across the back and not thinking I'll use the honey comb pieces at this time, but will be using the flip down gas cap.
