Parts Wanted 71 mach1 toploader crossmember

im having a tough time finding a correct crossmember for my toploader. i see lots out there before 71, but not for 71 to 73, which i assume that means they are different.
anyone have a 71 4 speed toploader crossmember they would be willing to part with?.
souces tell me that they are not reproduced aftermarket.

this is the last piece to my project to be able to install my toploader.

The toploader crossmember is the 4 legged unit. It's used from 71 to 73 on the 3 speed, 4 speed and the C4. Nothing special about it.

I guess what throws me off is is all the sites list them as pre 70, but they all appear correct from what I've seen.

Thanks for the diagram Tnfastbk.
So, I can assume that if it listed as a 70, a 71 is basically the same.
It also seems there were 2 different styles of crossmember for a manual trans.
One squared off at the end


One rounded with a notch on one side.
When set on a level surface the height of the mounting hole on the driver side measures 2 1/4" on center
and the passenger side 2 3/4" on center.
I just assumed the the mounts were symmetrical on both sides...

Will either of these work? just curious as the the different designs.

The 70 uses a 67 numbered crossmember. I can't tell you the difference as I've never compared A to B.
