Not what I was expecting. I don't think there's anything salvageable other than maybe the front/rear glass.

Edit: didn't read description, seller said only glass is good.

Why is it that even something like THIS gets put up for twice its value?

Besides the windows, the seats may be salvageable. That's it. Someone even mangled the trunk edge.

Even if the seller gave it away, the value of gas and loading equipment would make this a losing proposition.

There is also a center console packed in there. Wonder if it is broken up? I think the ad does say that the seats are from different cars. But that does look like a rear seat from a fastback?

I don't know. The roof looks pretty straight. I wonder if it has the headliner bows in it? I think the glass is worth $100, and the scrap value, at least around here, is probably a bit north of $150. Still, if you're not nearby, the gas to get it would eat you up.

Rear window trim, roof panel, glass...and there is bound to be a few good interior parts at least. Would be worth dismantling in place. Certainly not worth hauling away to anywhere.

If it was closer I would buy it just to see what's in the 8-track box.

plus all the fold down parts..
A friend at work has a bunch of 8-tracks he wants to part with, as his 8-track player bit the dust.

It struck me - At least the seller didn't advertise it as "A diamond in the rough", or "Great father-son project". ;)

Good eye on that 8-track box! Also that foot gas pedal has to be a classic! Wonder if the helmet was used during the demolition of this car? Outside sure looks like it had been in a demolition derby.

It's worth at least $200, as it is a Frank Cone limited edition.
At least $500 - it has a genuine Mr. Dorm's Wenko/SC* Mock 1 Performance Package with Equus Bass 351 Fishing Reel badging!

*And boy, did Mr. Dorm have a big Wenko/SC. Let the jokes write themselves from here.

Ms. Frizzle just called and asked where the gas pedal from her bus went to.

Guess we have the answer.
