My Car
1972 Mustang convertible, 351C, 2V
Picked up my 72 Mustang convertible Restomod Friday (wanted one since my early 20s). Purchased it in Alabama 3 years ago. Then the “check writing” commenced. Chassis by Schwarz performance, crate Coyote with Rausch super charger/6R80 from Power by the Hour Performance, changed back quarters to 1970 model year for more rear tire width (305’s, 255’s in front). Added a NACA hood (not original). Interior by Manda Marie Upholstery. It’s beautiful, in my opinion. I’m sure it will offend some purists but I cannot apologize as I find the finished product absolutely breath taking and just wanted to share.9CEE28E7-9147-466A-B9BA-5F10EE8BFD8F.jpegB391A5E2-36DC-45B9-9A25-9B6B4EB471B4.jpeg405BAAC3-722C-49E1-B4E7-37E9029A690E.jpeg4D56750B-4566-4341-94A1-6F53B6DCB5CD.jpegB90445C2-7BBC-4263-811A-3058586BFB9F.jpeg7EE1B29D-3556-4B40-A7F7-25B63B0BCDC5.jpeg9CB1FA4C-0AFA-469F-A469-16DC9A9030CB.jpeg

The only thing I would change is nothing! Looks great and a car to be proud of, for certain! I like the rear fender treatment and would like to see more pictures of them. The side marker light delete is slick, too. Congrats on building the car that's perfect for you!

Thank you very much for your comments. I’ll get some pictures up soon.

Thank you for all the positive comments. It's very nice to hear from like minded colleagues. I don't understand why this wasn't a more popular car from the beginning!!! I'll get more pictures of the interior and rear quarters online as soon as I can.

Not a big mod fan and like the one on the trailer better which I'm not sure why it is amongst the pictures, but your car is well done and glad you did green. Definitely one of the better ones. Original seats lack comfort and yours look better for that and hope they retract a notch unlike originals. My only complaint is all the high end looking mods and the windows still crank.

Outstanding job! I used to be one of those "as it left the factory" guys, but changed my thinking about 2 years ago. Have a '73 Convertible in the Restomod process. Your car is simply beautiful. I appreciate the styling, the way you integrated the 69/70 Quarters and your attention to detail! Would love to see more images (any and all) and hope the car will be on display somewhere we can view it up close. Congratulations on a stellar build.

@KLMortara the additional pictures show what I was interested in. The incorporation of the rear quarters is brilliant! Kudos to you metal/body man.
Paruch Automotive Craftmanship. Appleton, WI. Amazing work. Cut his teeth on Ferraris with Motion Products. Now on his own and I think he can do most anything. Everything I have seen is nothing but quality!!!
