Time for me to buy new Sill plates for my 71 Mach. Does any one out there have a opinion on what I should buy. Stainless cost more $ and I think the original was Aluminum ? šŸ¤”

Stainless for a car you intend to drive to cruises, shows, fun events, etc. Aluminum if you HAVE to have original material; but don't be surprised as how fast scuffs and dents will suddenly show up.

Just as a note:
If you intend to keep the car? then stainless is the way to go. If it does get scratched up? Stainless is easier to re-buff and make new again. You can polish out the aluminum however it takes twice the effort.
