given southern california doesn't really have winter, I can't say that I am.

Though I will say it's actually very hard for anyone from this area to talk about where you live without sounding like an gloating a$$hole to the rest of country, lol

We hit 80 again here. Drove the mustang to work. The freeways were pretty clear due to the holiday. I left the top up on my way to my after work hike up camelback since the sun was so warm but was able to put it down on the way home. I hate to be a gloating you know what but the weather is actually very nice here.

We just got hit with 6-8 more inches of snow for the drive in to work this morning. Now its spitting ice and a touch of rain.....really weird, I even saw lightening on the way into work this morning. that was crazy to see in a snow storm! 20 min drive took about 50 min. Drives me crazy following 4x4 SUV's going 10-15 mph with 4 ways on!!!! I have a little beater car ford escort with awesome winter treads on that could drive up a wall if it needed to. Needless to say I did some passing this morning. I live out in the sticks and don't reach a road with painted lines till im almost to work and none of my roads had been touched yet. Made it fun this morning.

Well we don't really get what the rest of the country would winter here in southern california.

I mean if I wanna see snow (and there hasn't been any major rainfall in the local mountains) my only option is to drive 4-5hrs north to Big Bear and Mammoth....and even then that only works for 6 months of the year at best.

so....I guess I can't really comment on "winter" here without involuntarily sounding smug, lol

We got 4 more inches of snow last night. I am looking forward to spring. I started my car for the first time in 2 months. Its just been to cold to work on it.

I put the snow shovels away in the shed last week; but pulled them back out today. We are getting up to 12 inches of snow by Monday afternoon!

I know last week they were predicting atleast 12 inches of snow for us in the Pittsburgh area to get hit last night and this morning. But it stayed south of us and you guys down there are getting hammered by it! I got less than a dusting from it at my house. Good luck and be safe!!!!

We got thunder sleet and ice here yesterday. Temp is 15 F. Wind chill 0 F Schools and businesses closed for the day. Local news showing pics/video of many cars in ditches and rollovers. Traction goes from OK to nothing when you hit the patchy ice covered roadways. 'Black ice' Side roads and residential streets still ice covered and crazy slick.

Tired of the cold...

It's funny , but we are a nation of complainers. It won't be long til we'll be complaining about the heat of the summer. But, I dont seem to get alot done to my car during the cold months, and that frustrates me. I don't seem to remember a single summer day when it was too hot to work on my car - but, then again, I love to sweat! Oh, and the car shows!! Here in Glen Burnie,MD., we have a car show every Saturday over the summer. Lots of enthusiasts here. Yes, I am one of the bigger complainers.

Thank goodness I moved from the DC area in 2000. They have been hammered with snow, ice, and sleet. Unfortunately, it hasn't been bad enough to stop the politicians.

I would much ratherbe outside and complain about the heat than the cold and be trapped indoors for months

hell yes! I am going nuts no heat in shop and needing some shop theripy

I'm so sick of winter that I am already getting new stuff for the Mach. Rear window louvers are here & so is new intake manifold. Gonna be a long winter. Now I just have to pick a carb. Guess it could be worse, I'm so lucky I own a Mach 1!
