OK Guys got another Question for the Mach unknown guy,,,what is this ..is it for the back shelf?

For sure not from a 71 - 73. Came in later years to cover the back area under a hatch back.

Ok Got it Theirs two rollers that it fits in to just above the back seat could this be something the dealer added?

I don’t think that has anything to do with Ford, assembly plant or dealer.

I have been wrong before though!

Cargo cover that first appeared on the Fox Mustangs from 79-93. Were on some of the other Ford car lines that were hatchbacks but majority were on the Fox Mustangs and Mercury Capri's. Early versions attached to the lift gate when extended so as to raise with the lift gate, later versions had hooks to attach to the taillight trim panel and remained stationary when lift gate was raised.The illustration shows the mounting brackets and the later model with the hooks that attached to the tail light trim panel.
