How about a little more info on your stroker. I am in the process of building one myself. Do you have any dyno numbers from it? Mine is a 408 with AFD aluminum SP4V heads, A custom ground hydraulic roller comp cam, harlan sharp roller rockers, double roller timing chain, of coarse all new forged bottom end with forged pistons and h beam rods, holley fuel pump and an 850 double pumper, along with a March serpentine system. Also a 4speed toploader and 9" with 390 gears. I'm sure I'm leaving a ton out but you get the direction.

Sorry, I've been absolutely wrapped around the axle for the last several days. The 408 I built is 9.5:1 CR to run on 91 octane pump gas. The block is from this mustang, 72 CJ. The heads are Ford closed chamber 4V Cleveland. I ported them using a friends flow bench 15 years ago when I built a 404 CID Clevor (pre stroker kit era). They have +.100 Ferrea 6000 series valves. The roller rockers are Ford Racing. Pushrods are custom length Manley 3/8 dia.. This engine has Scat crank and rods, Mahle pistons, rings, and pins, solid flat tappet cam ground to my specs by Lunati (.562/.580, 238/248 @ .050, 110 LSA, install 106 ICL). Intake is fundamentally a second generation copy of the Ford D1ZX-GA intake from Blue Thunder. Carb is 750 Holley HP. Ignition is Dura-Spark II with MSD 6 AL, 34 degrees total advance. Peak HP is 528.7 @ 6400, peak torque is 496.3 @ 4900. Torque is 450 or more from 3200 through 6000. In the car the numbers may be some what less as I'll richen the mixture a bit for street use and the Hookers are probably not as effective as the dyno headers. I'll try to figure out how to scan and upload the dyno sheet today.

Thanks, Sounds like a fun one to drive. Are you running a automatic or manual tranny and what rear gears? Hopefully I will be able to have mine on the road springish next year.

It has the original C-6 with additional clutch packs, HD band, improved servo, shift kit, 2800 TCI convertor. Final drive ratio is 3.89:1 (couldn't find a 3.91:1) Traction-lok.
