Door section

Brand new here. Finally bought a very clean 73 Mach 1 (pictures coming). Anyway, the guy did great work, but, he shaved the door handles and locks. Have not dug in deep enough to see if the process can be reversed or if its better to weld in new handle pockets. So, there is my question, does someone have really crappy doors that could cut out the door handle buckets off? Not sure how much metal I would need, enough to surgically weld them in I suppose. the doors are perfect otherwise, so, trying this route. If skins were available, that would be my first choice.

I have 31 1971-73 Mustang parts cars, so I am sure I have some doors that can be cut up for you. Let me know if you decide to go in that direction.

Motor city, please check your PM. Reviving this old thread. I had ended up cutting out the shaved portions but the pocket was impossble to recreate so the handles kinda sit on top of the metal. It looks really good and non knowers of these cars dont really notice, but I notice and it drives me nuts.

So, anyone have some junk doors they can sell me some sections of?
