Engine stalls out with AC

My engine stalks out when I turn the AC on. The rpms bottom out and the engine quits........

What does it idle at with it off. If I remember there is some kind of idle solenoid that idles it up under the load of the ac

If you changed to a higher duration cam, you may need to bump your idle up a bit. Check your vacuum with the engine at temp and then turn the A/C on. See what the difference is.

If it varies from 800 to 1200 RPM it sounds like timing and or carb calibration. What cam, timing, and carb are you using?
