Did a Hooked on Driving event at The Ridge Motorsports Park. Got an instructor in the car with me for (4) 20 minuet sessions. I'm ****** tired. This was the last couple laps of the last session.
My wife just did the Mustang's Northwest track day yesterday with her 66 Restomod at Pacific Raceways. Her day ended early because of a minor brake issue. We just did a lot of work to get him track ready and the car performed beautifully except for the brake issue.
Very cool Pat, looks like that extra suspension work you did on the Mercury paid off. Showed the wife your video clip, she is now wishing she would have taken her AC Schnitzer 330CI out with you guys, every since we've own it she's wanted to open it up.
Dang, that's some nice work with a big 'ol hoss like a Grand Marquis! That sucker's a real flat handler.
Smooth hand control is what I see!
Elevation changes are what confounded me back in my open track streetbike days.
My first 2 years were on a flat, 13 turn track (Nelson Ledges, OH), then tried Mid-Ohio (check out any YouTube vid on the place). Oh my, HUGE difference in talent required... talent that this hack didn't quite have.
