I use www.paintscratch.com. You can purchase your original color either in 1) touch up pencils (for those cars with very few nicks; pencils work great and inexpensive), 2) aerosol cans, or 3) cans. Paint matches perfect.

No need to go to the store. You can do it online. They ship it to your door.

Knowing the car you have (a great survivor) be careful touching up anything other than really small imperfections. If the area is large enough that you want to get a spray can to do it, find the best paint match person near you and have them custom mix and apply it (single stage). Paint the smallest area of the car you can to get the results you want.

X2 here.. If you have a car with original paint that has some small dings, think twice before do anything.... The less you spoil the original paint, the better... It is an almost 40 y/o car... it is natural to have some "history" on his paint
