So, todays project will be setting up a new to me Snap-On sand blaster cabinet. It needs cleaned up and maybe a new piece of glass installed but it should make by small part restoration go a lot faster!

What do you guys recommend for blasting media? I have mainly light rust and paint to remove...don't want to destroy the metal.

You working it Barry - - sounds like you are really getting into it!

My vote would be for the glass bead, only because it is usually a bit cheaper than the aluminum oxide. Both should serve your stated purpose.
