I have coolant leaking on the garage floor. Getting underneath I see coolant dripping from the a/c condensation tube. My first thought was heater core. There is no odor or dampness inside of car. Is there any other source of this leak~~before I attempt to remove the whole heater housing?

Is it coolant or the normal condensation that is leaking from the tube? Every vehicle I have ever had that has AC creates the same puddle underneath when I use the AC. One of the tell-tell signs of a bad heater core would definitely be the dampness or soaking of the passenger side carpet and the sweet smell of coolant but if you do not have that then I wouldn't automatically think it is the heater core. Is your coolant level going down at all in the reservoir? Good luck and let us know what you find. Also, seeing that this is your first post, welcome to the site, there is an introduction thread for you to introduce yourself if you want near the top of the home page.

If it is Antifeeze(Coolant) versus clear water, yep you lost the heater core.

One thing you might try before tearing the dash out.  Put 1 teaspoon of Ginger(yes the spice Ginger) into your radiator and run the car for a while.  If your leak stops, which it likely will, you are good to go.

I know it sounds crazy, but my mother showed me that one back in 1984.  That Radiator is still leak free today.
