My Car
1971 Mach I
1973 Grande
Hello everyone, just getting around to introducing myself. I own a '71 Mach I that is completely torn apart. I have a feeling I've bitten off way more than I can chew, but I think if I take my time and read a lot from this forum I should be OK. Have owned this car since I was 18, it's been in storage since '93. Just started the tear down a year ago. I'm looking forward to learning a lot from everyone here and someday being able to help other newbies. Trying to attach a picture but not sure if it is working.

Welcome from Washington State, yep looks like you have your work cut out for you, but you've come to the right place for advice and to share your adventure.

Hello and welcome from coastal Alabama.

Wow, when you say it's torn apart you weren't kidding. The good news is there are a few others who either are or have been at that same level and have documented their progress in rebuilding and reassembling their cars. Do a search for threads started by qcode351mach and mister 4x4 and that'll be a great jumping in point.

Good luck and make posts to document your progress.

I actually started this project because of watching all the youtube videos from Q over and over over again. I've actually got the entire front end (frame rails, fender aprons, crossmember, etc.) assembled and painted and ready to weld in as soon as I get to that point, so it's not as bad as it looks, but it still a HUGE project and many, many years of work. I look forward to getting to know everyone and thank you in advance. Will also send photo updates.

Welcome from West Virginia you are a brave man!

Welcome from Houston, Texas!

Quite aggressive project you have on your hands. Can't wait to see the progress.
