Hello everyone,
My name is Timo and I come from Germany and live near Hamburg.
I bought a manual 4 speed 1973 Mach1 Q-Code 2 months ago.
Since the car came to Germany in 1995 and has been stored in a heated private collection since then, there are quite a few things that need to be repaired on the Mustang.

They told me almost everything on the car is still original, except for the ratio of the rear axle and the Edelbrook Air-intake manifold and the carb.
And sorry for question I will have that only a newbie will ask (and my bad english )
Welcome to you. Nice looking Mustang. Great to have you aboard.

Thanks for the Welcome,
It is interesting to see that the old Mustangs have found fans all over the world.
From the supposedly bad paintwork Made in USA. nothing can be seen in the pictures. All look great .
Have you all modified anything on the chassis? Mine is lower in the back than the front.

Welcome from Alabama after 3 beers... only 3?? LOL!!
Actually welcome from west Michigan and another yellow 73 owner. This model Mustang is a really great road car and should be a blast to drive on German roads!

The lower rear suspension is indicative of a special handling package from that time. I always thought that the rear springs were worn and that’s why the 1-2-3 mustangs were dragging ass. I replaced my rear springs with regular suspension type and the rear sits higher for a better stance.

Welkomen from Seattle Washington. Nice looking car. I spent a year and a half in K town back in 1978-1979 in the army. I really miss the German beer and bratwurst. One thing I liked was that you could take your dog almost anywhere. I had a German Shepherd there. I took him in restaurants, department stores. 2F9FD3A1-9B0C-4150-9E01-0BAEDA0266EA.jpeg
