Have you tried the Marti sight?

I don't see it listed either. What engine code and build date is the car? You might call these people. http://www.ecsautomotive.com/index.php Their site lists several 1972 emissions decal but show no picture. They may have it or be able to reproduce it from your original. They are much better at reproducing decal than they are at building websites. Second choice is http://www.osborn-reproduction.com/. Chuck

Thanks alot for your fast response.

to be honest with you all, I'm a little new to the whole classic mustang thing:D. all i know is that i found a serial number right by the starter and it read D0AE-L and right next to it there's a 2n print 0H27.

i've also gone under the car to check the type of trans that it has and saw 2 diferent serial numbers the 1st reads RF-DIAP-7006-AA and the 2nd is RF-D1OP-7DO27-AA and every other serial number that i hava checked it says that it belongs to a Boss engine. I am totally .

and now I hope this doesn't sound too complicated, but I only have partial VIN for this car, that i saw under the left and right fender on the chassis. *2f199741*

Check your drivers door sticker. The fenders only have the VIN # withought the model letter. What's your complete VIN on the dash and see if all 3 have the same numbers.

THIS IS A CASTING NUMBER NOT SERIAL NUMBER

1970 CLEVELAND BLOCK DATE 1970 AUG 27TH

1971 CASTING i THINK THAT IS A C - 6 NUMBER

1972 DEARBORN CAR 199741 IN THE ROTATION

If it was an original motor and trans

Both would have 2f199741 stamped on them

Thanks, Nice to meet good people like you both.

I checked the right hand side door and it has a totally different VIN# vs the one on the chassis. Sure the door got changed it isn't the original color.

and the one on the dashboard the rotation numbers doesn't match neither to the one in the door or the chassis.

Now... with all my respects to you both; Where exactly I should find the VIN stamped on the Motor and the Trans.?

Rear driverside top of block. However, If your fender numbers do not match your dash numbers you have a seriouse problem. Which numbers match your tiltle VIN #? Dash or fenders? Now like I stated before the fender VIN will not have the letter for the model. The 199741 should be the last numbers of your dash Tag and the Title VIN.

The Dashboard matches to the Title, but I was told by the dmv that I should find the rest of the missing VIN on the chassis in order for me to clarify all this mess. THE STORY OF MY LIFE .... I just don't know where to find it.

The only place you will find it on the chasis is the top of the fender rails under the front fenders. If those numbers do not match the dash and title someone has either:

A. Changed the entire front end

B. Installed that dash on a different car
