No issues with mine.
Went down this path a few years ago myself. The stock bar from addco was a different thickness than the aftermarket bar.I'm looking at adding a rear sway bar to my car
Personally I cant answer that question. I had my tail pipes custom made as they needed to be replaced anyways.Has anyone noticed any exhaust interference issues with the Addco rear sway bar? My cars aftermarket exhaust was done without a sway bar in place, and I'm concerned that I may not have the correct clearance for the bar where the exhaust goes over the axle.
In my case with that bar there was going to be contact with the exhaust. The exhaust on the car was fabricated and installed before I got it and when it did not have a rear bar. Since I intended to increase the pipes to 2 1/2" I decided to just remove the over axle pipes. The bar certainly can be easily accounted for if you are having an exhaust made for you.Has anyone noticed any exhaust interference issues with the Addco rear sway bar? I just looked at my clearances and took three pictures for you. I think you are right that with your current exhaust pipe configuration you'll run into an interference. My first picture is the drivers side and Ii have about 5" clearance between the exhaust pipe and the flange on the gas tank. But mine is the "staggered" shock setup where the drivers side shock mounts behind the axle. Your picture looks like you have the standard suspension where both shocks are mounted in front of the axle. Here’s a picture I took with an adjustable pole in place of the sway bar where I “think” it will run and I’m pointing to where I “think” it mounts to on the body. If I’m correct then my exhaust is in the way as you can see the pole running into it. My exhaust would need a sharper bend over the axle for the sway bar to have adequate clearance.
Can anyone confirm?
