SB Toploader behind an 460 engine

Hey pro´s

As searching for a good toploader for my Big Block engine

I bought a RUG - BG 4 spd toploader

with wide gear ratio, 31 spline

and the small Block input shaft 1 1/16 10 tooth

Is there someone wich maked such a swap?

I dont really know wich clutch, clutch fork, flywheel and bearing i should use.

Other question i big block input shaft has a diamator from 1 3/8

Do you know a shop wich offer a big block input shaft for a small block wide gear ration toploader?

RUG - BG is a fairlane trans, not Mustang. I think the tail shaft is too long for a Mustang. Check with David Kees or Mark at toploader heaven, but I don't think a small block trans will survive behind a 460.

there is a member in the www.fordmuscle.com forum and his user name is "monstermach" he's done that combo in his 73 mach 1. he is using his original 351c 4spd behins his 460. i believe what he did was use a 400 small block bellhousing and everything else from the same car.

it might be interesting to see his threads on that forum or ask him. beware though, hes a very old grump man with little patients though. not comparable to these great people here on this forum.

What i found was this.

Wide Ratio 4th Gear 1-3/8" Input Shaft

This is our new 1-3/8" wide ratio 4th gear. Use this gear as a direct replacement for any large input wide ratio toploader. This input is one piece just like the originals.

Would be interresting if this fits the rug-bg1 toploader.

And wich other parts i would need.
