They can also make custom gear reducers. The OEM reducer, if one can be found, sell for insane money.
I think the original reduction rate is about .69 but double check that. Let us know what you end up doing. Chuck
I think the OEM PN was C9ZZ-17294-A or C8ZF-17294-B.
The reducer doesn't care. The L or R pitch on the driven gear is what matter. NPD has a chart for driven gears. I hope you find something that works for you. Chuck
The speedometer cable used on all 71/72 4 speed cars with the reducer is D1ZZ-17260-F. It's 71 13/16" long. Not currently available in reproduction that I'm aware of.
