Squeaking Spare

This is probably a dumb question, but do you guys have trouble with the spare tire squeaking in the trunk and if so what do you do about it? Currently have a full size spare but will be moving to something more compact and lighter. That thing squeaks around like crazy back there unless I keep a towel or something under it. In the pics I've seen of other peoples trunks, it looks like the tire is up against the trunk floor like mine, but I must be doing something wrong or maybe this won't be as much of an issue with a smaller spare?

Suggest maybe applying a coat of wax to floor/wheel well where tire rubs against. Also light coat of oil on tire itself. Myself, my spare does not squeak.

OK thanks for that. I'm also thinking I might not be able to get the spare tight enough with the setup I've got. I'll take another look at that as well.
