Strange loss of coolant

What motorcraft part number and what is the lb rating? Please note that by driving daily you probably burped all the air outta your engine.

I did burp the system like you recommended. But I was still loosing coolant. And the car was overheating.

But after the new radiator cap (or a diff new one) the problem went away.

Motorcraft RL-12 (13 psi)

I drove the car yesterday for 50 miles (25 each way) and no overheating. I drove at 70 miles for some stretches and pushed it to 80 to pass a few times. No problems. The max temp was abt 190F
