My Car
1971 Mustang Mach 1, M code, 4 speed.
Yesterday, July 28th, I took the old Gal to a good sized car show in Amherstburg, Ontario. I say good sized as there are usually around 700 cars and vehicles there.
Well not to brag, (well maybe just a little) my car took the trophy for 1970-79.
Here are a few interesting pics from around the show. I loved the "beetle". The Boss 302 is claimed to be unrestored......... hmmm!

Congratulations

Well done! It looks like a great show. As for the VW, it seems to be a classic case of time, skill, and money being combined with poor decisions. Chuck

Thanks Chuck,
Yes the VW wouldn't do too well in the rain, but at least it's well ventilated. I thought the craftsmanship was outstanding, but I think he could have done better for seats. John Deere doesn't exactly fit the theme.

Car has always been a beauty Geoff. Congrats, well deserved.

I noticed your original license plates. I still have the license plates that Russ Davis Ford issued to my car back in '71 when new. I removed them , as I now live in Boise , Idaho, and have it licensed with the Idaho plates. My original plates are in a storage cabinet in the garage.

Spike, you are correct. those are the original plates and dealer surround from Bishop Hansel Ford in Santa Rosa CA. The surrounds are on the car all the time, but I change my Ontario plate(s) just for shows. However I sometimes "forget" to change it back after.
