Alright gang...on the search for seats for the coupe...both fronts and the two piece rear. Going to be reupholstering them to black, so color doesn't matter, but more importantly trying to find any source or seller within the FL area. I know @rvanamb had some great ones available...and as much as I would have grabbed those immediately, the shipping was almost the same cost as the seats, which I know will be an issue no matter what. Therefore, I am trying to locate some at least within the state so if I needed to take a road trip to pick them up, at least it's more reasonable. I'd take that drive versus spending 400 on seats and then another 400 hundred in shipping. If anyone stumbles across someone parting out or somewhat close to me...a heads up would be appreciated.

On that same note...should I not be able to find originals, does anyone have suggestions for some acceptable repros or aftermarket seats that don't look like a 13-year old gamer chair? So far between JEGS, CARiD, etc....they all seem to be racing seats, as opposed to somewhat classic seats. Curious if anyone has found some decent ones for their cars.

TMI makes nice seats that is why I have the spare originals. They are pretty expensive at a little over 1k plus seat brackets. I think they are more comfortable than the original, which is why swapped them out. Also how I know I'm getting old as I pick stuff based on comfort 😂.PXL_20241021_201926713.jpg

Yeah, I've run across those. Pricey...but I'm with you on the comfort issue. I already had to re-fabricate the brackets for both fronts (those I saved) in order to slide my 6'4" frame into the damn car. The original placement felt like I was riding on the hood.

On a separate note there is also the topic of being torn on staying original to the car. True the original seats aren't as comfy, however they are original. Which is to say, do I spend 1100 on TMI's or do I grab yours, eat the shipping, and net out with two originals that I can re-upholster for practically the same end price? Ugh...decisions. Now if I still lived in Oregon, I would have hauled out there for a road trip. lol.

Just fyi - When I bought a driver's seat from Mike @Motorcity Mustang he removed the seat back from the seat bottom so he could package them together flat. This reduced the shipping cost significantly.
