What's your MPG?

I'm afraid to even consider checking it out.

Plus if I wanted an old car that got good gas mileage, I would have bought a 66 Beetle.

Okay, I genuinely laughed out loud at that one.

I get about 10mpg. 351C/C6/3.5/gear vendors (see sig for more details)

I used to get about 7 before I put in the GV. I don't drive it enough for the GV to pay for itself but highway speeds are much nicer and the extra gear is fun between second and third.

Maybe it's the three carbs? Maybe it's the way I drive?

429, c6 and 373 back when she ran I could get 12 highway, when I took it out to play it was single digits for sure XD I wanna say 7-8ish

With my SEFI 408, 10.3:1 compression, reasonably radical cam, and 4R70W transmission with lockup and 3.50:1 gears, I seem to be able to squeeze out 25 mpg on the highway cruising, and about 15-16 mpg city driving.

With the 429 & 4300 stall converter, 4:33 gears, I'd get ~6mpg.

With the same engine & 2300 stall converter and 3:25 gears I'd get -14 mpg driving conservatively.
