Thanks! My Mach shares my garage with her '66 sister. This year I added a very rare option to the '66 - see "fire missles" - comes in handy with people on phones at red lights!!!Beautiful car Mac!
Beautiful RideDashing through the snow...............NOT
"Grabber Lime Green", yep my car was a demo sitting sideways at a Ford dealer back in Jan of 1972. The color caught my eye. Even though I would have preferred a few different options, the color won me over, so for $2,995 I drove it home. Still have it. Turned 41,000 miles this past summer and always garaged during winter time.Loving that color as well.
My dream car!! First one I ever saw was in Birmingham England in 1972 and I fell in love....... with a car. I've owned 4 now, but the Grabber Lime has eluded me. I thought hard about painting the one I have now, but the history on the car meant it had to stay Light Pewter."Grabber Lime Green", yep my car was a demo sitting sideways at a Ford dealer back in Jan of 1972. Your M code, 4-speed car is sweet! What color interior? How long have you owed it?My dream car!! First one I ever saw was in Birmingham England in 1972 and I fell in love....... with a car. I've owned this one 16 years now. I bought it in the LA area. It is totally rust free, numbers matching and all original steel except for the tail light panel. This car was a very low optioned car, a Plain Jane so to speak, but had all I wanted....... well, mostly. I also have the entire history and documentation from day 1 except for the dealer sales receipt because it was bought new as a graduation present for a young lady, Nice Daddy eh!Your M code, 4-speed car is sweet! Very nice! Looked at your pics in your album, again very nice! Were you at the 60th this past year? I may have seen your car there.I've owned this one 16 years now. I bought it in the LA area. The interior is black, originally 1A, but a PO added Mach 1 seat covers. The rest is pretty much original except for carpet.
I have since added PS and PB with discs up front along with a repaint and trim items. To me, it now looks as a Mach 1 should be and not a warmed over Fastback.
Thanks for the kudo's.
I was at the 60th at the Essex engine plant in Windsor. That is my intro picture.Very nice! Looked at your pics in your album, again very nice! Were you at the 60th this past year? I may have seen your car there.
