when the door is aligned properly I don't foresee any problems with leaks

 
Looks like it'll take a little more than just aligning the door. The quarter window looks a little out of alignment as well. It'll take some tweaking to get it right.

Even then, the one's I've talked to about roll-ups says they leak no matter what they did. I hope that's not the case.

no secret societies here ...most people don't do it because it's a bit of work for very little gain ...

I really like the pillarless look though ...In fact, I'd say all my 4 windows have been down since the day I finished it about 3-4 years ago.

Seriously, it looks like the gap gets bigger toward the top. I think it's going to take a little more than just a door alignment to close that up - but I know you can do it.
